The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the online result and cut-off marks for the Head Teacher recruitment exam held under the Education Department, Govt. of Bihar for 40,247 vacancies. The written exam took place on 28th and 29th September 2024, and eligible candidates can now check their results online on the official BPSC website starting from 01st November 2024.

Qualifying Marks and Merit List Criteria
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- General Category: 40%
- Backward Class: 36.5%
- Extremely Backward Class: 34%
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Women / Disabled: 32%
Merit List Preparation
- The provisional merit list will be created based on the total marks obtained in both parts of the written examination (Part-I and Part-II).
- If candidates have the same score, preference will be based on:
- Marks in D.El.Ed. (Part-II) subject.
- If the tie persists, age will be the deciding factor, with preference given to the older candidate.
- If the tie still remains, preference will be given alphabetically by name in Devanagari script.

- Visit the Official Website: Go to the BPSC official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in.
- Find the Notice Board Section: On the homepage, locate the Notice Board.
- Click the Result Link: Look for the link that says, "Results: Head Teacher under Education Department, Govt. of Bihar (Advt No. 25/2024)" and click on it.
- View the PDF File: A PDF with the result list will open in a new tab.
- Search for Your Roll Number: Use Ctrl+F to quickly find your roll number.
- Check Qualification: If your roll number appears, you have qualified for the Head Teacher position.
